 Sport clubs from Ploce are: Football (soccer) club 'Jadran LP', Futsal club 'Porto Tolero', Basketball club 'Ploce', Women handball club 'Dalmacija', Women basketball club 'Ploce', Rugby club 'Ploce', Water polo club 'Rogotin' and Karate club 'Ploce'.
We have to mention that U-14 team of Rugby club 'Ploce' became the vice champion of Croatia and U-16 team became third. Futsal club 'Porto Tolero' participated in first futsal league (now in second) and Women's handball club 'Dalmacija' has played in the first national league few years ago.
Sport facilities in Ploce are: 'Mocvara' - playground for small sports (football, basketball, etc.), sport hall with 1600 sitting places and a football field of the football club 'Jadran LP'. |
